After earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering and spending 25+ years in engineering roles, I packed up and moved to Canada in 2013 — ready for a new chapter. A few years later, I stumbled into a niche I never saw coming: IKEA kitchen installation.
It started small — four kitchens for a local contractor. But something about the work grabbed me: the puzzle of every layout, the quirks of each home, watching flat-pack boxes become a space a family would gather in for years. What began as a side gig quickly became a full-time career.
